Default Whatever happened to the Twin Peaks?

My buddy and I both bought Suzukis back in '04. I ended up going with a Vinson 500 and he picked up a Twin Peaks 700. What ultimately happened to the Twin Peaks? What was the difference between the TP and the King Quad?

Suzuki didn't figure that they needed two 700 class utes so they discontinued it. The major difference was that the King quad is a one cylinder and the TP was a V-twin.

The Twin Peaks was a rebadged Prairie 700 (What Kawi had before the BF). It gave Suzuki a big bore but as stated above, once the new KQ 700 came out there was no need for both. I think the alliance ia all gone now, even the kids quads are not shared anymore.

What's the advantage/disadvantage of a V-twin?
