Had some issues with my 05 King Quad 700 not starting after sitting for a couple of weeks but added a battery tender and all fine now.

That is what mine did also but no when lights are on it is showing only 13.45 volts at the peak and the min. Suzuki shows should only be 13.5 so I am below there normal at my peak. Any thing like that you have heard of?

I would check the battery. Completely charge the battery and check the output to see if you might have a weak cell in the battery, then check to make sure you don't have a constant draw on the system. Something might be putting a slow drain on the battery. Otherwise, pick up a battery tender for 30-50 bucks and see if that helps.

Arondrum, I as I understand your post, with your lights on you're getting 13.45 on a voltmeter with 13.50 being spec. Well 13.45 is only 5 tenths of a volt off spec.

What is your reading with your lights off?.

I have a 06 king quad and the battery has a slow draw. I asked my mechaic at st.onge recreation and he says that the efi has that one draw back. I have to charge it or boost if it sits more than a month . SOmeone said to turn the kill switch off when parked but that didn't change anything.

KingGreen, there is a new ecu from suzuki that cures this problem. Ask your dealer to check service bulletin #115.

was there bad ecu's in the suzs that are draining batteries or is that in the 07' models as well? my wheelers would set for 4 to 5 months and that would not be good.
