I just purchased this 89 LT 4 wd that is really hard starting when cold say 30 degrees out. Also it won't idle till it is good and warmed up. If you let off the throttle before that it just stalls. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like that's normal. You need the choke for cold weather starts and you have to let it warm up before you can really ride it. But, if you insist that there is a problem, I would suggest cleaning the carb and especially the pilot jet. If that don't work, turn the mixture screw in a turn or so to richen the mix up for cold weather running.
