My 05 kq instrument readout shows "CHEC". I have heard that this is a classic sign for an ecu failure. Is that true? What else could it be?

 

Hey bud you should ask your dealer the up grade my dealer told me I bought mine there would be free of charge because they have problems and found out today there is a problem and a recal coming on the iqnition switch.
