z400 oil

Default z400 oil

I am changing the oil for the first time and was wondering what weight oil would be the best I plan on useing amsoil

I would use the amsoil formula 4 stroke 0-40w. It is rated very good and I or my friends have never had a problem with it!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]....I have also heard that you should break in with regular motorcycle oil and then switch to synthetic but have not heard if this is better or not. Hope this helps some.

if you go by suzuki specs its a 10w40. I use belrays thumper 20w50 in mine
