My lt 80 will crank over but will not start, I have changed the battery as well as the spark plug and put it a new piston on it yet it is still doing the same thing any one have any suggestions? Thanks

I am on both but the compression is only up to 80 and it wont start at all you just her it trying to crank over but it wont fire up. got any other ideas? thanks

80 isn't near enough (120-130)
Tell me about this new piston..Are you saying that you took the cylinder and had it bored to the new size, or you put a new piston in the cylinder w/o the bore? |

No we just replaced the stock piston, do you think it would be the cylinder? How can you tell if the cylinder is bad are there any obvious signs?

The obvious sign is no compression. Even a new piston that isn't broke in to the cylinder would not be that low.
You need the next size piston and the cylinder bored to it. Use Suzuki pistons/parts.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] |
