Welcome to the forums.
Is it getting fuel (wet plug)?
Is it getting spark?

80 isn't near enough (120-130)
Tell me about this new piston..Are you saying that you took the cylinder and had it bored to the new size, or you put a new piston in the cylinder w/o the bore?

No we just replaced the stock piston, do you think it would be the cylinder? How can you tell if the cylinder is bad are there any obvious signs?

The obvious sign is no compression. Even a new piston that isn't broke in to the cylinder would not be that low.
You need the next size piston and the cylinder bored to it.
Use Suzuki pistons/parts.
