does any body know what the motor difference is between a 1985-86lt250r 2stroke and a 1987-92 lt 250r 2 sroke people tell me the motors are different they tell me that the 85-86 are the same and the 87-92 are the same but that the 86 motor is different from the 87-92 motor going crazy what is the answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can some one e-mail me some facts or just tell me please!!!!

 

The 85 and 86 had a bore n stroke of 70x64.8mm and a rod length of 120mm. 87 on had 67x70mm and a rod length of 128mm. According to wiseco and hot rods.

Very different engines! There may be other differences, but that's all I know about.
