If you do one thing to the engine you are going to have to do something else if you get a exhaust you will have to jet it and put a k&n fliter on as well if you have the air coming into the engine slow and coming out fast. see where i am comin from... you need to have the air coming in fast through the carb out the exhaust pipe which if you get this combination right getin the air in fast and out fast equals horse power gain. hope this helps you......would not know about the cobra exhaust system

did not see the noise problem on there get a stock exhaust or a new riding place where people do not call the fuzz on you like in the woods i do not think the trees will not call the cops on you...ride safe and good luck

The cobra is WAY loud. Any after market pipe is gonna require the above mentioned intake mods, Plus rejetting the carb (pain in the rear) it will = more power.. If you are looking for less noise, find a good used stock pipe.

thats the problem though i cant find any stock pipes</end quote></div>
Probably next best thing would be a DG excellerator, or supertrap.. They have tuneable discs. but remember you will have to have a high flow air filter, re jet.
And, find a different place to ride!
