Judging on my picture what do you guys think my quad is worth? Im really wanting to build another one but not sure how much to invest. It is a 1987 LT 250R. Im also debating going back through this one and changing it up again. Thoughts are welcome!! Thank you all!!

 

thats one clean lt250. what mod are all the mods done 2 it. btw right now is not the best time to sell your going to get very low ball figures.

Thank you for the heads up but Im not looking to sell, I'm just trying to get a reference number of what I should spend to build another. I dont want to invest a fortune if I can buy one for close to the same amount. Thank you again for responding.

 

its a good time to buy toys due to the housing market. i seen a guy selling a 88 lt250 with the 6speed tranny for 1300. it was pretty clean 2 and had "allright" shocks on it.

Get what "I spent" -vs- "what it is worth" out of your head! You will never recoup what you put into it, $ and/or time! Sick ride by the way!

I just sold one really clean 89 for $2700. It did help that it was in dirwheels last year and was built to eat all the new 450s plus zillas like nothing. But yours is clean so I'd say it is well over $2200. Just gotta wait for the right person to buy.

Poolgod is right though. worth vs. spent.....never compare unless you wanna get sick!!! But I have recently been able to pick up an 85 running for $350 and another 89 in really good shape for $1300. So they are out there pretty cheap. Just keep your eyes peeled!!!

 

Thank you all for your responses. Believe me I do not ever expect to get what I spent out of this. Toys have always been money pits for me but I love tinkering and riding them. I would love to come across another one running in decent shape for arond 1000. Then I could start rebuilding!
Baja, Maybe since yours was all built up to beat the big dogs you could recommend some tips? What do you think was the best upgrade?
