Default 2008 King Quad Steering Issues?

I monitor this and other ATV forums to help educate myself on ATV issues. I have a 2008 King Quad 750. I am new to ATV's. I've had the bike for 3 months without any issues. I have now changed the stock tires and rims to 27" SwampLite with ITP SS108 14" rims. I have read about previous year King Quads with a serious steering issue that becomes worse with larger tires. Seems the options to correct this problem are new A-Arms or some form of caster modification.

Does anyone know if the 2008 KQ will require the same fix as previous models?

I don't want to be on the loosing end of not knowing and preparing for this design flaw. I generally use my atv for trail riding and hunting which takes me off paths and through the woods, hills , rocks, mud, roots etc...I am not an overly aggressive rider but at times will push my bike through some nasty terrain. .Also seems that Suzuki is setting itself up for some sort of liability since this problem is common knowledge. (Once I started looking information). Any help or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

It is my understanding that the caster issue is still there. There are a few modifications that can be made or WRCP makes replacement A-arms for the 700. Not sure about the 750 though.

Suzuki's 700 King Quad platform has relatively light steering for its size. The caster is the same on the 750 as the others.
It's not hard to steer by any means, but the shallow caster angle allows for twitchy high speed operation and a penchant for snapping to full lock unxpectedly once in a while when the wheel hits an obstacle and the grip is not firm.
The caster can be corrected via the Demijohn mod. Rather pricey aftermarket lower arms are also available.

Wouldn't simply adding a steering stabilizer help this? I put one on my Raptor and now I can't live without it. Steering is much less "jittery" now.

People have made a steering stabilizer fit a King Quad and have reported that it helps.

were you hoping they would fix it on their dime? I have yet to hear of anyone that has had any success with that. Only "fix" I've heard suzuki providing was coming out with an EPS model in subsequent years.
