Default LTZ 250 Oil Filter

Noob here with a quick Suzuki question. My girl recently got a 2004 LTZ250. Last weekend we were changing my oil and hers. The Suzuki oil filter is not labeled as to which side is which. Here is how it was installed, inside to out:

spring
oil filter (hole towards the inside and closed end towards the outside)
oil filter cap

does this seem righ to you guys? I can't seem to find one pic on the internet of one installed and just want to make sure it's in there right before we go out again. thanks.

Go here...CLICK ME
Get the micro-fische for the 250, under oil pump you'll see the diagram. The spring should be between the cap & filter.

Oops, had to do a little edit... anyway I use that site all the time

Tip the bike on it's side (So the oil filter is facing to the sky) and then re-do.
