Default Breaking in a 2007 Suzuki Eiger, help!

I just brought home a new 2007 Suzuki Eiger and was so excited I didnt read the manual before I rode it. When I got back from my 30 minute ride, I read the manual and saw that I wasn't supposed to top out the motor and ride over half throttle (which I did both in short duration). What kinds of damage should I expect?

You can probably expect a better break in than if you had read the manual. According to Motoman anyway.... http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

It was probably a good thing you didn't read the manual in that regard.

I did it the way motoman did, on my rancher and that thing ran like new after 4 years. I ended up selling it for the Z400, and broke it in by manual no problems yet after 1 year. I just try not to keep the RPM's up to high and vary them.

I don't think you hurt anything, just have the valves and piston checked after break in.
