LTF-4WDX (KQ 300)
#1
I just picked up a low mileage KQ 300 and I was considdering putting new tires on it. Now this thing has some oddball tires so it took me a while to find something but I thing I've settled on these.
They come in the correct sizes (front: 24x8x11, rear: 25x10x12) and are available in 4 and 6 ply. My experience has been that 2 ply oem tires are junk, I always had to be plugging the tires on my kvf 650. What I was wondering is has anyone had these tires? How did they hold up? How heavy were they? If I get them I will be going with the 4 ply since I'm lacking power as it is. Will these slow it down much?
Here is a couple pics of the quad:

It's a carbon copy of my old 95.
You know you don't have to stop to shift ranges?
Yes, when you shift the foot shifter the autoclutch disengages the drive and you can then shift ranges cleanly. When you shift the foot shifter down a gear and up a range at the same time it goes smooth as glass. Going the opposite way with the foot shift as the range you are changing to reduces the gearing jump to normal.
Works in super low too. If you are picking up speed after a slow technical section in super low then just shift it back down a gear and up a range to 'low' at the same time.
Or if slowing down, shift to 1st in low, and then shift up to 2nd and the range lever down to super low at the same time. Smooth as glass.

My old ATV is on there somewhere.
