Im thinking of buying a new ltz 400 have any of you had any problems with the engine or any thing if so what. Thanks

 

Good quad, if you want one, buy it. Not as fast as the 450's, but still a good all around ride. Still see them all over the place.
No major problems with my engine, just basic maint. and replaced the timing chain.

 

i have an 05 wit tons of hours of hard ride time. it has been reliable so far. mine is stock an runs with the 450s..... even the 250r's from 80's. excellant machine id recommend to anybody.

 

I've got an 03' and it's been a great little quad. I wouldn't say it runs with the 450's but it goes good enough to have a great time anywhere. If you're an experienced rider I would go with a 450 or a big bore sport, but if not get the Z400 for sure.

 

If you're not planning on seriously racing, it's a good quad. Not that it couldn't be made to compete. Lots of parts available, new and used. Just remember how much you put into it might have been cheaper to get the 450. great bike, not gonna set any land speed records tho. It can be made into a fire breathing machine tho
