Default Opinions on 05 Kingquad 700??

Thinking about buying one this weekend and having never owned any Suzuki product, I wanted to know if this year model had any issues? A buddy told me that that the EFI could be troublesome.

Default Opinions on 05 Kingquad 700??

I own one, and also a tech.

The first ones, out had a ecm update for too much power in revrse, which could cause the revrse gear inside to sieze to the shaft. Suzuki has sence fixed that problem and there is 5 years of warrenty on those for the revrse gear and shaft.

Then there was some tie rod replacement, all of the manufactures had this also.

They did have a battery drain issuse also but have fixed that as well with a new ecm.
You can get new relays and the updated ecm if you live in a cold climent area.
One more thing in 05 they resealed the throttle housing.

I have mine all updated and is a really good machine for doing what I want.

One last thing, AIR FILTER the stock ones can get plugged with dirt then it can start to suck in dirt. This is what happened to mine and I had to rebuild mine.

Buy the UNI air filter does a good job and cheaper than the twin air . (which I do perpher over the UNI but there both foam filters so it was a wash)
