1987 lt250r ?'s
well its come time to rebuild my 87 lt250r and i had a few quetions.
ive got my new Wiseco piston kit (.060 bore) i lost two bores due to wrist pin gauging, and my headwork will be done tomorrow.
my questions were..
-does anyone know what a good upgrade from a stock reed cage would be.. due to the fact that the 87 is only a 5 bolt cage and v-force doesnt make anything for it.
-also im looking for a little more low end torque.. any suggestions on sprocket size? or jet size?

Boyesen reeds OR a Rad Valve...... if Boyesen offers one.
Drop one tooth on the front sprocket. But, remember this also requires more chain. So, if you are already about maxed out on chain stretch, you may need a new chain to go with the sprocket change.
You could also take a link out, but that's a band-aid fix on a bullet wound if the chain is already worn out.
