I own a 2004 Suzuki LTZ-250 and the engine has been bulletproof ever since I bought it. I bought the quad for my son when he was 13, and after moving it around the garage for a couple of years I decided to start it up again and run it around a little bit. The quad only starts when I have the choke at half way or more and the engine sputters out when I turn the choke off. I have tried everything that I could think of besides tearing the engine apart. I sifened the old gas out of the gas tank, put in new gas, and a new spark plug.

What can I do?

try cleaning out the carb.and the lines.
