2003 Suzuki Eiger: No bottem-end torque in High
My Eiger is starting to have some problems. My biggest concern is its loss of power down low. I have to put it in low (auto tranny) in order to make it up a mid-sized hill. When you floor it from a stop it is very slow and unresponsive. Occasionally, I can hear a catching/slipping noise coming from the belt when you go from the reverse to high. Could this all just be a loose belt problem? It still has plenty of power up top, and plenty of power in low.
Another thing I have been noticing that could or could not be related to this problem is the fact that it dies on me all the time now. It just recently started doing this on me. It use to run at an idol all day if I wanted it too. I also have a Suzuki Ozark (2003) with a lot more usage/abuse on it than the eiger and it runs much better than my fairly new eiger (1,100 miles).
What's my problem?

Here is a Video of it being done Its a Can AM put the procedure of all Belt changes are the same more or less. Don,t worry about the tension release tool if you have none.
Here is a Video of the belt coming off without a tension release tool.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_HhKSY3Ro8
