suzuki ozark, what does PES, PPT mean on my on/off fuel valve
i have an 04 suzuki ozark, and i am not sure what PES, PPT means on the on/off fuel valve. I bought it used and dont have an owners manuel. i have been running it on PPT just because that is were the guy said to turn it on, i was looking at it today when i was cleaning it and saw there was an actual ON position, just wondering if any other ozark owners know what that means because i have never seen that on any other atvs, or where they run theirs at. thanks

Any chance that the letters are hard to read?
There are three positions: "ON" - this is the normal run position. Engine must be running or cranked for fuel to flow.
"RES" - This is the reserve fuel, used when you run low on fuel from the "ON" position.
"PRI" - This is the prime position, only used to get fuel flowing. Use "PRI" if the engine is hard to start or if it's is really cold.
I'm betting that you PES = RES and your PPT = PRI. You should be using the ON position.
