i have a problem with my suzuki vision 500.I went thru a pond and water got in the muffler so i pulled the plug and tipped it on end, pulled it over till water quit cuming out. now it will idle but i can't give it any gas or it will start popin and die?????

 

you should remove the entire exhaust and let all of the water drain out. Next check to see if you have water in the airfilter box if so dry it out and then give it a try.

 

You also need to check you oil you probably have milky oil now. That is an easy path for water to get into the motor.
