How does this bike compare with all the other Japanese bikes that are in the same cc class?
From what I here it does the best in most departments?
Lets hear from you guys that own them.

 

So does no one ride one? I know that the 05 king quad 700 got Quad of the year by some of the magazines.
But I also know that they had a poor air filter setup.
I would like some feedback from real riders. Please

 

I would try searching the site because there are many topics about this machine from people who own them. The only negative things that I've heard about the KQ700-750 are the poor factory air filter and that the steering can become twitchy when riding down hill due to the front end geometry.

 

The King is a great bike. I love my King because of the soft and stable ride. It's not as fast as a lot of the bikes in the same class but I bought it due to the stance and stability. A great all around ATV depending on the type of riding you intend to do.

Only 45 miles on my new 08, but so far love the thing. Still getting used to the power difference coming from a POPO 500 Sportsman. Feels like a much lighter machine and a little more bouncy on the trails but love the power difference. Didn't even mean to but launched off a small bump last weekend, scared the $hit out of my son riding with me...until 5 minutes later he wanted to do it again. He is his father's son...

 

I own an 2007 king quad 700 and have had a couple of problems with the belt slipping in water and not much water at that. I was wandering if there r any belt upgrades i could put on it to improve the pulling power and slip factor in water??

 

Hey KJSOO48, You should not be getting water in on your belt at all, if you are getting water in you are ether in water over the air intake for the belt witch up so high you would be getting water in the intake for the motor, or your belt cover is leaking. I ride a 06 700KQ I've been in water up to the top of the tire and haven't had any belt slipping. "KNOCK ON WOOD" Ride Safe But Have Fun. Rebel700

 

Hey H20, I have a 06 700KQ so far the only problem I've had is I had the top end rebuilt that Suzuki would not cover. It was do to that junk paper air filter that came in it. So change it with a good foam filter, I ues a UNI for the money I think they are the best "JMO" Twin Air is a real good one too but they are twice the price. Both are very good filters it all in what you want to spend. Just keep it clean and will oiled. Don't run that junk peace of s$$$ stock filter like I did it was a $1200.00 lesson for me. I didn't know about the filter be junk until it was too late. As far as the King Quad as hole going they one hell of a nice quad, they have all the power a man needs and then some Good luck with what you do, Rebel700

 

I've had the water problem too and I think it doesn't have to do with the air intake for the belt but the exhaust tube for the belt. It's quite a bit lower than the intake, below the rear brakelight. I'm thinking of using ABS pipe and bringing up behind the rear rack.

Thanks for the feed back ... keep it coming. Brad you posted that I should do a search on this topic so I did, however I did not come up with anything. I really think that either not to many riders on this forum ride these bikes or don't seem to want to comment on them.
From what I know they seem to be very close to ( specs ) the 08 700 Grizzly.
The king seem to have a smoother engine.... But ride I am not sure?
Power... which one has more ? which one would win a drag race?
Is the reliability equal? Besides the cheap @ss filter.
