2007 King Quad 700 camo "V" Water
#1
I have an 2007 K.Q. 700 camo. I use it around my crawfish pond and for hunting its an awesome machine but I am having trouble with the belt sliping after going threw what I'd call average water. when my friends on 660 grizzly's go threw and have no issues! I also had an issue with the dealership I bought it from The mechanic striped out the belt drive cover screws and forgot to tighten the break along with several other screws and rivets. When it went in for its first services. If you have any suggestions for the belt drive or comments about the dealership i bought it from please leave me a message or email me at KJSIMERAL@HOTMAIL.com

I'd see about the dealer installing some Heli-Coils in the stripped holes, quick, easy fix, if you can get to them, and they'll be stronger than the aluminum threads.
As for the belt drive, it's probably getting water in from the stripped holes, this was my quad this summer, and the water was flowing over the front rack, and is the only time I've had an issue with belt slippage...

The place the water seems to get into my King is from the CVT belt exhaust behind the tailight. The front intake is much higher than the exhaust and when I go into water, the belt slips. I've had 450 Kodiaks go thru and not slip where mine did.
