Default my ltz 400

i was changing my oil and it smelled like gas was in the oil jug and my bike will only start if u push start it a couple of times when it started it sounded horrible my motor was screaming and it got hot in jus a couple of minutes somebody told me its prob my timing chain any suggestions

ya it could happen, if its hard to start and you have to push to start you should get your valve lash checked ,most likely the valves are very tight .
you can get them adjusted but more than likely its time for new intake valves

i was thinking of an alba pipe hot cams and big bore 440 kit and changing my valves if i do this will my bike still be reliable to ride

yeah ,well its your money do what you want ,but you will still have to do all the other things to make it perform .
yosh is just about the best pipe ,and go with the full setup ,slip on 's just dont get it.
stock valves seams to be the best way to go ,ya they do wear but then so do the after market one's but they cost more.
get a higher compreshion piston ,a dyna cdi, a better intake ,and a FCR carb then after you have worn that out then think about a BBK.
