1987 suzuki lt500r h
#1
I just purchased a 1987 suzuki lt 500r h. The previous ouwner was an old man and aquired it form his nephew after his death in 1994, through the court system. he never done any work on it cense. After recieving the title and taking it down to the dmv to register it, they informed me that i would have to bring it in to be verified. Tthe frame has the correct serial number but the engine has none at all, Which must have came from a case change at some point, I have no reason at all to believe that it is stolen. the engine is definitely an H model 1987 year engine according to suzuki. i am looking for the location of the serial number and maybe a picture of one. My title has the engine number on it and it is my understanding that when a broken case is replaced the shop doing the work is suppose to stamp the serial number into the new part, which was never done on this quad.
