Default LT250R Steering Stabilizer

Well I'm getting ready to finish up the rebuild of my 250 for this coming season, and I'm VERY tempted to get a steering stabilizer. The main reason would be that I get ALOT of feedback through the bars (mostly fine, twitchy motions at moderate speed). Now sure, that was with crappy, old, worn-out, plain Holeshot's at wayyyy too much pressure (10-12psi, that's way too much in my book), and I'm going to be running nice, new fancy Holeshot GNCC's this season, at a nice, comfy, 4-6 psi, but, I dont think that will entireley cure the problem on it's own.

Everything else is pretty standard; stock a-arms (not for long lol!), stock shocks (ugh...), and a stock stem.

So my question is, do you think it will be worth getting one? I think its about $100. I'm mainly looking at the Bugard unit, which is a "strut type", not one of those fancy "rotary style" ones like the Elka's or Ohlins.

Keep in mind I race XC and need to retain maneuverability in tight woods.

Also, what is the adjustment range and what aspect of operation/performance is adjusted?

Thanks, Austin

Yeah I think if you are going to be racing cross country or desert a steering stabilizer would be great, I run one on my dirt bike and race desert, they are nice and adjustable so you can set them to not hold the bars in tight stuff, but if you hit something hard with one wheel at speed they won't turn and the suspension will do it's job. I recommend a scott's but they are closer to $500 and I don't know whether or not you can put it on a quad but check it out.
