this really makes me mad. today i was about 5 minutes from having my quad finally fixed for good. we put some new stuff in the carb and we had to take the air box off the get it back on, so we had to take off the rear fenders. after i took em off, there was one crack all the way through and broken apart on one side and a crack around almost the whole way on the other side on the frame. DAMN IT! the guy said it was to cold to weld today he said to try tommarow. i can't wait to see what goes wrong next.

Easy Outs work, sometimes. I prefer to just drill out the broken bolt and put in a bigger bolt w/a locking nut.

What happened to your muffler bermbanger?

A stick came up and pushed the outer part of the silencer away from the quad and pushed the front part of the silencer in towards the quad then i bottomed out the rear suspension without knowing it was bent and smashed the silencer.

man i know what you mean, i just spent three weeks on my 230 quadsport putting in new piston and rings, new axle bearings, new handlebars and grips, stripping it to the frame and cleaning, sanding abd painting every piece nut bolt and washer. i put it back together last night and took it out for its maiden voyage today and threw the chain and cracked my stator plate cover bad. so now its sitting on the carport till i find a new cover. man some days it dont pay to get out of bed.

The one time i didnt tighten my chain before i rode brush knocked my chain off. The chain doubled up and got jammed between the gard and the gard bolt. IT TORE THE BOLT OUT TAKING A CHUNK OF MY TRANSMITION CASE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!! I thought my riding dayes were over. In a few days it was TIGed andi was up and running again.( with lots less cash)
