I'm mounting a Gorilla winch on my 03 Eiger. First I assume that the 03s didn't get prewired for a winch as I haven't located any of the wires in the usual locations. Second, the winch seems to sit really far back in the frame and with the Ricochet skid plates it doesn't look like I can pull from much of an angle without screwing up the rope on the skid plate. I'll try to get pics up but is there a mounting plate that most use to get the winch up further? Last, where to mount the relay? I've heard in the glove box in the back but are there any other suggestions? If I do go with the glove box mount, does anyone know where to get some good grommets to pass the wires through?
