Ok what you could do is get the 450 and get a different set of suspension that would raise the ground clearence. You wont be as low to the ground but it would help for trail riding. I hear elka makes super good suspension real good for absorbing bumps and stuff but its expensive i think. Ive got the kingquad 400 which has like the same engine as the z400 just with different gearing and 4 wheel drive and all that stuff. It is super powerful and fast so i cant imagine how fast the ltr450 would be holy crap lol.Also forgot to mention that suzuki has the best rating on this site from thousands of reviews by people so this is where i go when people ask about a certain quad http://www.powersportsnetwork....siasts/review_list.asp

 

Yeah, i talked to my dad, all ill be doing is racing. Seen from the videos though that the Lt-R450 isnt a good jumper. Correct me if im wrong.

 

ltr-450 is just as good of jumper as any other 450 out there, probably one of the best. Its all about the rider...

 

The LTR-450 should be a great jumper, especially with its mass centralization. Even the exhaust is center mounted for mass centralization! I've never heard it was a bad jumper.

And when I said the Z-400 was an all-arounder, I didn't mean utility. Its just a good solid sport quad, not a racer. Its comfy more places than just the track.

Another Question, do you wear your roost deflector on top of your jersy in a race or beneath it?

 

Yeah a lot of videos suck on youtube its the same for every atv that you search in. My chest protector is clear, so i wear it on top

well im ridin a the black limited edition Ltr with a full black suit and black helmet. So since my guard is black, i can wear it on top. Search on youtube, "ltr big jump" and click the first one i think

its doug gust pro rider and really good jumper. watch at 1:30 and 2:10 he does some nice jumps there.

 

even though the z400 can be fitted to race.....a friend of mine has a r450 and its so beast..........he did lots of mods to it and will go 100 + so 450 is where its at.

 

This sucks, my mom delayed my limited edition for 7 MONTHS!!! This really is crap. Oh well, looks like im stuck ridin my dads friend 250.
