Exclamation suzuki QuadRunner 300 92 help!!

Hi guy!

I would like to have your opinion on a problem I got with my ATV.

When I put it on 4X4 (not lock differential) and backing up, I hear a weird toc-toc-toc comming from the front wheel. I also noticed that the sound appear when the front wheel want to slip..

Please guy help me out!!
Thanks!

I would possibly be looking at your inboard joints, are the boots ripped on it at all?

U-joints. As said above, look to see if your boots are torn.

If the knocking sound changes when in 4wd and going from a load to a non-load situation, good chance that it's worn U-joints.

I know with my 92 250 4x4, the front inner CV boots are torn and the grease has all leaked out, the left side when loaded in 4x4, especially backing up will make a nasty clicking sound
