Default The cure for the 230's sucky ace front suspension?

So, i was bored today and decided to see what my 250r (86) shocks would look like on the 230.

well well well, bingo!

theyre only a half inch longer, and have fancy progressive rate springs!

the front end sits only 1.5 inches higher, and im gonna modify the upper mount to drop it back down to around the original height if the first test ride goes good.

looks like they belong there

sadly, i had to rob them off of my r, but its only temporary. im gonna go order a used set of r shocks tonight.

Looks good man. Although my camber was a little disappointing, I couldn't be happier with the 250S shocks, the difference in the ride is amazing!

Dang $180 for Works shocks?? That's a crazy good deal!

I'd wait to modify you're upper shock mounts and try to use those shocks with the extended a-arms when they're done. That might take care of that extra length just about perfectly.

Oh lord.... One of those "on the back-burner" projects, lol.

So, you racing the R or the S? Somehow I had it in mind you were racing the S.

besides, it looks cooler from the side now with the front end sitting a little higher...
