Default Just snorkeled now what size jet do I need?

Ok I just snorkeled an 05 eiger 2" all the way. In order for it to run normal it has a 2" to 3/4" reducer on it. What size carb jet do I need to install for a 2" opening? Is 2" too much for this small carb/engine? should I reduce the opening to 1 1/2" and then rejet from there?

thanks for the help in advance

If it was jetted correctly before your snorkle job you should be fine now. Just because you put a bigger pipe going to the carb does not necessarily mean your getting more air.

I've never snorkled a Quad before but there were quite a few time's when i rode with my cousin's in the creek's , swamp's and Beaver pond's near their home playing follow the leader when i took on water in my gas tank mounted under the seat of my old 86' Honda TRX350 Foreman 4x4 ; while the Quad's my cousin's owned all had the fuel tank's on top in front of their seat's !

There are quite a few site's with information on snorkling ATV's i don't know if there are still any post's on this subject here since this forum was redigned , the last time i read a post on snorkling some member's suggested going to Arctichat or Polaris for this info i know that arctichat.com had some good info on snorkling since the 400 and 500 AC's have the Suzuki engine's you could try there if nobody here jump's in to help ; in the meantime i would suggest that you remove your spark plug and check the color/condition , if it's black you're to rich , grayish / white you're to lean the color should be a light tanish / brown color for the correct jetting of the carb !

Good luck with your quad and i hope this help's , williebee ..........
