i just bought an 06 ltr450 quadracer with a full lrd exhaust and i was wondering if putting a cherry bomb on it would be ok. I dont know if it is a good idea because of the exhaust system. any ideas? oh and any oil recemendations would be helpfull.

 

the cherrybomb works BETTER with a pipe (and filter!)

you will be VERY happy with it!

 

oh and for oil, i like amsoil, but its ridiculously expensive. but theres no doubt about it theres no oil out there with more R&D into than amsoil and its definatley a safe bet for your bike. but its really all a matter of opinion.

 

If you don't have some sort of fuel controller, whether it be a CRBM, PowerCommander, etc. you're hurting it more than helping it. The CRBM will work nicely with the pipe and the lid off.


As for oil, I run Rotella T 15w40.
