Default timing question

my name is ken im new to this site and i think i might have a big problem. i just recently got a new bottom end and was putting the cylinder and cylinder head together and now im at the timingg part. soo i put turned the bottom end over to TDC but when ive taken it apart before i noticed the cams can be positioned 2 different ways, (when you look through the little hole that has the T on the flywheel) the cams could point inwards or outwards and you have to take them out pointing outwards now how do i know that the T on the flywheel is on the right stroke for the cams to be put back in pointing outwards? does it matter or will it mess with the spark firing at all?? or do i just throw it back together and let it rip?

i dont know which quad u have but most suzukis align the t on the magneto to the tit on the case and with the cam bolts vertical with the cam sprocket alignment pin at 11:00 position. you should see two little lines on the cam itself that go parrallel to top of head

It doesn't matter on what turn your crank is, as long as you have the timing mark(T) lined up and your timing chain gear mark pointing up.
