Recently purchased an 86 lt 250 ef 4wd , but ,unfortunately , our local suzuki dealer ( Blackhawk Cycle) , in Strasburg , Ohio , went belly up a couple of months ago... need some basic info - how many qts . of oil are required to do oil/ filter change ( not real crazy about trusting the " sight glass " ) , was also wondering if anyone had a service, owners manual, or a place to download it from the web. quad had 386 actual miles on it when I bought it ( purchased new by an elderly gentleman, who went blind 6 months after he bought it, putting 70 miles total on the quad;the owner that I purchased it from bought it for his wife to ride with him, but 5 years and 3 daughters later, only 310 miles ( and a new set of tires) were put on the quad- with a new battery as my only expense so far ( and a can of seafoam in the tank, to clean out the carb ...) she is running much better !!!

 

The oilfill indicator glass is more accurate than a dip stick, I know , I have the same type machine.

 

my 1988 Zuki LT-4WD with a 250 engine takes 3.7 quarts.
