Default KQ 750 Rev Limiter

Hey guys,
I am looking at the 09 KQ 750. I want some info on the diff lock rev limiter.

At what RPM does it kick in?
Does it kick in too soon and does cause problems in the deep mud and snow because it takes too much power away to soon?

Does the over ride button on the bars turn it off? If not how can I turn it off?

Has anybody here have regrets about buying the KQ because of he rev limiter?

I want to use the machine for ice fishing and hunting. I will not be beating on the machine but I do not want the rev limiter causing problems with my ability to power out of the mud and snow.

Thanks for the input.

Yes the override button will cancel the rev limiter when you hold it in. Buying a copperhead module will over ride all of the rev limiter functions as well, but I think they are alittle pricey. I would not base my decision to buy a bike as good as the KingQuad on a mere rev-limiter feature, alot of bikes have the feature and as I stated before , you can use the override button or put a VDI module on it. Just my .02, Good luck in your purchase and yes the KQ is a good atv....Heck...I have 2 of them.
