I was looking at the dg rcm and it says that their is no spark arrestor. Do suzuki lt230s's usually spit out a lot of sparks?

nah no more than any other bike. the only reason for a spark arrester is if youre going to be riding in a state forest or somewhere that requires it but otherwise its bs
