I was wanting to know if i should put a big bore kit in my ltz 400 and if i should put hot cams in it i have looked at the athena 435 kit that all you do is bolt on thanks.

 

DO IT!!!!! my Z has that and more and it HAULS!!! but to get the most out of it you should have a full system,intake and put a FCR carb on there. good luck!

 

I have a full system yoush pipe and k&n filter. What all mods do you have in your ltz 400 and how long have you had the 435 kit in your ltz 400 thanks.

 

look at the tread labled "Looking at a LTZ400" thats mine, and i have the440 kit, i ment to just get a BBK in general.

 

How long has the 440 kit been in it.

how many different places are you going to post the same question? You posted in one thread that was 4 years old!

There are other mods you can do first that will do just as much for you. You could get a used FCR and a used set of cams for the same or less then you'll get the BBK for.
If you have your heart set on a BBK look into the Cylinder Works kits. They can be had for under $400.oo if you look around.

Don't expect to be able to beat a 450.....

yes the Athena is a very good kit.....and it will cost you about $200.00 more then the CW kit, which is also a good kit.
no, it will not cause your engine to have problems. Just don't expect too much out of it without doing several other things.
