Default 2004 LTZ 400 shock changes

I am around 235lbs and new to the LTZ400....

I was wondering if I changed the shocks front and rear to ones off of a TRX/LTR/KFX 450 if it would help out. I also wanted to make sure that the 450 shocks, both front and rear, will work on the 400.... Thanks for any info in advance.

It is a 2004... I thought the KFX450 was basically the same as the LTR?

sorry.......I didn't notice that you had the year right in your title.
The KFX and LTR are not the same.
You could also look for a set of LTZ '05 and up shocks. The LTR shocks could be a little better with your weight though.
