Eiger Flywheel question

What years of manufacturer did the eighers have the flywheel issues where the magnets would come off? Did they fix the problem with later year bikes?

I had a 2003 model that had the flywheel problem. They changed the flywheel to one that have the magnets enclosed.

Was the fix made prior to the 2006 model year Eigers? I have a chance to buy an 06 locally, but I would like to make sure before I buy.
