will a newer swing arm from 87 and up fit an 86 lt250r frame thx

 

lj, I see you have no responses yet so I'll just throw out an idea.

Someone may know on here but if you don't get any info here your question may be an easy one for a dealers parts guy. I've always had good luck with just walking up to the parts counter and asking...all they have to do is look it up on their computer. They don't know why you're asking..."maybe you want to buy an '87 and up swingarm".

check my lt in my garage. it is an 86 with full 87 and up rear parts including swingarm

 

so it will fit on an 86

oh by the way I finally added you as friend sorry about taking so long

 

yes that is correct 91-92 wont fit because they had the updated dogbone and shock location like a dirtbike but the rest are good to go
