I have gone through just about everything I could think of but It just don't have gould performance .It idles good but when you go through the gears its just not all there. The only thing I noticed is the cdi and ignition coil are not original can this make the engine not perform to its peak. I mean the cdi and coil are not even aftermarket they are a little different style and looks like they took them of another machine or something.

 

yes that can severely affect performance. if the cdi wasnt a timing match then it may not be advancing the timing enough forward to make the engine open up. it may even be retarding it a bit.

 

Thanks I guess I will have to try and find a used one because new ones go for almost $300 and that would be a costly test.
