I have a 2003 LT-Z400 and i can't seem to get it to fire using the electric start...it will push start pretty easy and runs fine after it's started, once it's warm it will usually fire up with the starter...i've cleaned out my airbox and checked the filter to see if i had anything causing a problem there...it's getting fuel into the carb, the carb is clean and working nicely...it's just got me stumped....any ideas would be great

check valve adjustment this happens on the Z400 does it back fire thru carb?
we have had to replace all the valves on ours

 

had the same problem but mine was from a cheap battery it didnt have enough cold cranking amps and i put a new yuasa battery in it but it was to late i the cheap battery took out my 1way starter clutch assmebly
