1990 lt80
 

I got a lt80 from my uncle and found that it turned over but would not run. Checked the compression and found it only had 30psi. installed a new jug and piston assembly. and still had to crank the machine untill it would finaly start. cleaned out carb and installed new carb kit. still machine had to crank for ever until it would start. when it would warm up machine would die. checked compression and i only have 30psi. I cant find a leak any were. any help.

I'm thinking it could be a plugged pipe.
Piston arrow toward exhaust?

yes arrow is pointing to the exhaust. i did try and blow compressed air threw the exhaust and about half of air going into would come out half the pressure. tried and put sylicone on head gasket and compression went up to 80psi for a few secounds untill it pushed out of the head. ordered a head gasket and gona try and see what it does. any ideas on how to clean out the exhaust.

I put the pipe in my woodstove. LOL
You can use charcoal. get it red hot and blow air thru it. ****CAREFUL**** It'll throw flames.
