have a couple of quesetions about my quad i have a 05 ltz 400 and i am having a hard time starting it it cranks and turns but just takes a while to get it started but once i start it, it is easy to turn back on. Then i was noticing that there are two wires that run right under the front master cylinder and connect right under there but the wires have been chopped off can anyone help me and tell me what they are used for and could that be the reason i am having trouble starting the quad. please need help and want to start to learn how to fix things on my quad myself atleast the easy stuff nothing to internal

Hard cold starts are almost always tight valves. If you haven't adjusted them in a while(or had it done) now is the time.
