Default Cold Weather

Is it just me or is everybodys quads running better now that the weather is colder. I guess the denser air helps give it more compression? I don't know but my 230 has a ton of low end power now.

yeah i agree. i was tooling around with my buddies 230 which has almost no power due to crappy rings. and it had all kinds of power that it didnt have in the summer.

I know if i had my 230 on the road running my current octane level it would be a blast. i got the new frame ready for clear coat but it got way to cold to finish it. i think everyone will like this frame better because i actually took my time with it and added some tribal pinstrips here and there on it. i figured out being cold makes it hard to steady my hands. it got down to like 28 degrees last night and my garage has no heat at the moment. dang wood burner caught on fire because a friend of mine spilled paint thinner on it and forgot to say something. like i said in the beginning of my build,"paint fumes are bad, bad, for the noogin."

My Arctic Cat 650 V2 seems to have more snap but I did just clean the air filter, its probably not because of the cold. But starting bettere is a no lol hate carburated motors in the winter.....

Uhhhh the colder air contains more oxygen which is a crucial ingredient for burning fuel..And when the fuel is cold it is much more dense providing more BANG if your machine is getting enough air to make that possible
