I had to clean out the gas tank, petcock, slow jet and fix the sticking float.

Thanks for the kind words. Only issue i have now s like a small skipping at a certain rpm. I'm thinking since i live in the country i got some bad gas from the store there. As i put a new spark plug in but it is still doing the same thing. Might try some octane booster and see if that helps it out.

Sounds like you need to either check the strainer on the side of the carburetor. If you remove the large hose from the side of the carburetor there is a strainer in there inside the port. If that doesn't help i would take it apart the carburetor and clean it good. As it sounds like something maybe clogged up in the starter jet. Pretty simple carburetor to take apart. I use compressed air and a tooth brush with a little carburetor cleaner to do mine with.

Are you using the choke to crank it with? I forgot to even ask about that? I've got to put a starter terminal on mine now as i hate using the pull starter on it. Little thing surely is expensive.
