Question Quadracer kick start lever assembly rebuildable?

My lever does not flip back in it is so loose I have to keep a bungee cord to hold it in, they are sold as a whole lever assembly for over $90!

Can these be rebuilt? I think all it needs is a spring but I can't see where or how it would be replaced. I would hate to shell out $100 for one.

Try looking up "Suzuki of Troy" or "Yamaha of Troy" on Google...they will have an online microfiche/parts finder that will let you see what parts are involved...you can also see how they are connected.

Hey nice lt230, and I already tried it is only sold as a complete assembly. The only spring you can purchase separately is the recoil for the actual kicker gears inside the case.

Are they any different than CheapCycleParts.com? That is what I have been using (sold as an assembly)
