Default z400 fuse/silanoid prob.

GOOD DAY ALL, I mine as well start by telling the story that got me here...i was riding 1 weekend and 10mins into the ride my z400 just died and the starter button wouldnt work and no lights...i jumped it by the silanoid and it started...so that led me to beleave it was the silanoid being bad...i bought a brand new 1 and put it in and nothing...so i started to look at wireing and ending up finding a broking wire after the connection from the starter/light/stop switch connection under the right side front fender...so i cut both side of connectior wire and connected it togeather and it started right up and i had lights...went riding and 20mins into ride i blew a fuse...looked at the wires and fiddled around and put in the spare and took off...20mins later it blew again...it seemed to blow after i went 3rd 4th gear then down shift it stalled and blew fuse...soooo i had to hard wire it to get home...and half way home the wire started fire...i knew it could do that but i had to get home...so i did it again and made it home...i would gladly take any help on this and what to look for and so on...Thanks in advance....
