Default Lt250e No fuel to carb?

Hey guys i have an old lt250e that i got for free cause it wouldn't run. We'll today i started playing with it and it fired right up on starter fluid or even if i fill the bowl with fuel. Ok now this is what gets me. The tank is mounted under the rear. I know on most quads its mounted higher than the carb and uses gravity to fill the bowl. How does this thing do it? Cause i am getting no fuel from the tank to the carb. If year matters i think its like a mid 80's year.

It has a Mikuni fuel pump operated by a vacuum line that collects pressure pulses at the intake boot. The pump has a diaphram so maybe yours is dried out and cracked.
